Libyan authorities handed over the remains of 20 Egyptian Copts to the Egyptian government  on Monday after taking DNA samples.

The remains were flown to Cairo via Misrata International Airport

The burial site of the Copts, who were beheaded by ISIS in Sirte in 2015, was located in October 2017 by Al-Bonyan Al-Marsous forces after investigations with a number of ISIS prisoners.
