Mellitah Oil and Gas Company said that the losses caused by the halting of crude exports due to the closure of Al-Feel field for over two months amount to 400,000 barrels per day about 239 million dollars.

On its Facebook page, the company explained that the losses continued to increase exponentially as a result of the rising of oil prices, which reached $ 74 a barrel, according to data released by the National Oil Corporation.

The field has been closed since late February because of the poor security situation in the region and the threats of the Oil Facilities Guard to the workers at the field.
