The global Numbeo Index published its annual list of the highest and lowest countries around the world in respect to cost of living expenses internationally.

Libya came last in the Arab world and second last in the world, following Kyrgzstan and before Pakistan with a score of 22.32 points on the index; however, the highest country was Bermuda, at a staggering 145.07 points on the index.

The Numbeo Index is specifically designed to focus on the cost of living in 138 countries around the world, which looks at rental accommodation, electricity, grocery shopping and other basic necessities for everyday living and making a comparison on general expenditure for citizens.
