Around 49,686 thousand Libyans have registered for the US Diversity Visa Lottery program in 2018, a report by the US Consular Affairs Office showed on Wednesday.
This figure ranks Libya in the 11th place in the list of countries registering for the program, according to the report that shows the registration of around 23 million people from all over the world.
The US Immigration or Diversity Visa Lottery Program is an annual lottery program set by the US government to give out a United States Permanent Resident Card, known as the "Green Card".
