People living in rural areas in the Maghreb countries have celebrated their different cultural heritage in an international festival held in Kebili Governorate in the southwest of Tunisia.

The three-day festival included various cultural and artistic events, with the participation of Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya represented by a cultural and artistic delegation from the Culture Office of the Municipality of Al-Hawamid west of the country.

The festival presented the culture, customs, and traditions of these specific communities, including music, poetry, manners, clothing, horse and camel riding and so on.

The event was set to be an area to connect communities and deepen cultural contacts between them, as well as to revive the common cultural heritage, according to the organizers.
