Libya  joined the ministerial conference of the Non-Aligned Movement currently held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku under the slogan "The Non-Aligned Movement is at the heart of multilateral efforts in response to global challenges."

A statement by the Foreign Ministry said that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation and Organizations Omar Katti will deliver Libya's speech at the two-day conference via video call.

The conference reviews the progress to implementing the movment's 18th summit outcomes held in Baku in October 2019.

The event provides an opportunity for member states to share views on issues of concern, in addition to comparing notes on means to promote international security and stability.
