The representative of Libya to the United Nations (UN), Taher Al-Sunni, confirmed Libya’s engagement with the Arab Group in New York in its emergency gatherings to consider the mechanisms of joint Arab action at the UN to support the Palestinian people.
On his Twitter account, Al-Sunni stated that work is underway to hold an urgent session of the Security Council and the General Assembly, in order to find a unified international position to end the ongoing vicious attacks on the Palestinian people.
Al-Sunni stressed Libya’s strong stance against all violations committed against Palestinian cities and holy sites, emphasizing the morality of their cause and the need for the return of the rights of all Palestinian people.
