The British authorities revealed that the Libyan government had handed them over the Libyan citizen, Hashim Al-Obeidi; brother of Salman Al-Obeidi, accused of the 2017 Manchester bombing, which left about 20 dead and hundreds injured.

Al-Obeidi was handed to British police officers, who accompanied him aboard a plane to the United Kingdom, according to Reuters.

The Libyan authorities had arrested the 22 years-old Hashem Al-Obeidi on charges of assisting his brother Salman in planning for the Manchester attack.
