The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, has stressed the need to preserve the stability of Libya, leading to the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections, according to a constitutional framework agreed upon by all parties involved in the political process.

This came during his meeting with the French Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler accompanied by the French Ambassador to Libya, Beatrice de Helen, during which they discussed the latest political developments and ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, according to the PC media office.

Soler reviewed the results of his meeting with the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, on the developments of the Libyan file, the importance of supporting the electoral process and ensuring the success of the security and military tracks to create an economic environment that supports stability.
