The Libyan former ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi, urged for selling the oil vessels that are involved in smuggling in public auctions and then use the money in developing the capabilities of the naval forces.
He also called for sentencing the crewmembers of such vessels to long jail times.
Dabbashi also extended his thanks to the naval forces for seizing two oil tankers in the Libyan waters.
