The head of the Libyan diplomatic mission in Oman Sumaya Goma said that an agreement in principle was reached with the Omani government to activate a direct flight route between Tripoli and Muscat through Libyan Airlines.
Goma said that the initial approval includes the activation of a sea lane between Libyan and Omani ports, clarifying that arrangements are being made to grant transit visas to Libyans wishing to travel to Asian countries and East Asia through Muscat International Airport.
