Libya discusses resumption of direct flights to Oman

The head of the Libyan mission in the Sultanate of Oman, Sunya Juma'a confirmed that she had agreed with the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Oman, Mohammed Zaabi, to activate the agreement concluded in 2010 regarding the regulation of cargo and air transport services between the two countries, by operating two scheduled commercial flights and another for air freight.

The General Authority for Civil Aviation of Oman was open to the return of Libyan and Afriqiyah airlines to conduct flights to the Sultanate, Juma'a said, emphasizing that the initiative comes to surmount difficulties facing Libyan citizen in their mobility and to activate the economic and trade movement between Libya and Oman, and from there to East Asia.
