The Libyan Coast Guard of the central sector rescued 203 illegal immigrants from an inflatable boat off Zliten on Thursday.

"The rescued migrants, including women and children, were from Sudan, South Sudan, Chad, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Niger, Bangladesh, and Somalia," Libya's Coast Guard confirmed via Facebook.

The migrants were handed over to Souq Al-Khamis shelter of the Anti-illegal Immigration Department, according to Libyan Coast Guard.
