Libya's Ambassador to the European Union (EU), Hafez Kaddour, on Wednesday, chaired the 187th session of the African Group of Ambassadors in Brussels, via video conference, with the participation of ambassadors and representatives of member states.

The participants discussed several important topics and issues in the African arena and exchanged views on the new post-2020 treaty of the Cotonou Agreement, which involves the EU, the African, Caribbean, and Pacific Group of States.

The meeting also highlighted the contribution of the African Group to the prospects of the Africa-European Strategic Partnership Agreement, according to a statement by the Libyan mission to the EU.
