Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siyala, and his Niger counterpart, Ibrahim Yacoubou, have agreed to implement the proposal to open an air line between the capitals of Tripoli and Niamey during a meeting in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Tuesday.

According to the Information Office of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Siyala confirmed during the meeting held on the sidelines of the 30th Summit of the African Union that border security between Libya and Niger must be addressed to curb people and goods smuggling across the common border between the two countries.
