Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Sayala has emphasized with his Algerian counterpart, Sabri Boukadoum, the need to coordinate in any international efforts aimed at settling the Libyan crisis.

Sayala discussed with his Algerian counterpart the developing situation in Tripoli, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Algeria has recently embarked strongly in the Libyan file and reiterated its support for the GNA, underlining that "Tripoli is a red line that should never be crossed," in the words of its president, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
