Several politicians from Tuareg and Amazigh minorities announced a new political party under the name of "Libo" on Saturday.

The founders held a celebration in Ubari town in the presence of a number of activists of civil society institutions in Ubari and Tuareg and Zuwara city elders, in addition to other Amazigh representatives from the Nafusa Mountain region.

The leader of the party, Fathi bin Khalifa, said in the opening speech that their purpose is to establish a democratic civil government with an open Libyan reference, without separation or exclusion or discrimination to anyone, pointing out that the declaration of the party came from Ubari as a message that the town is safe and enjoys a peaceful life.
