The Libyan Fatwa House has denounced disallowing Muslims to pray Friday prayer at Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for the first time since 1969 by Israeli occupiers.

The Fatwa House said the ban is directed at violating the holiness of Islamic teachings and is an assault at 1.5 billion Muslims feelings around the world. It also called on Muslims to go out in public squares and protest this Israeli violation of the holiness of the Aqsa Mosque.
