The Chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), Ali Mahmoud, reviewed during his meeting with the deputy UNSMIL Head for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, four initiatives currently underway, as part of what he described as the commitment of the LIA to reform and transparency.
For her part, Williams reiterated UN’s support for sovereign Libyan institutions and their right to work without intimidation and interference, according to the UN account on Twitter.
