The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has announced that football activities will resume despite the coronavirus pandemic is still taking hold in the country.

The head of the LFF, Abdel Hakim Al-Shalmani, confirmed that preparations are on to resume domestic league competitions in the coming period, after a four-month suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In separate media statements, Al-Shalmani revealed that the Libyan Premier League will kick off in its new version on October 15.

The LFF has informed all clubs of its intension to restart football activities throughout the country, noting that it is waiting an approval from the Supreme Committee for the Coronavirus pandemic and the relevant security authorities.
