The Legal Committee of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) is due to hold a meeting next Tuesday in Tunis in an attempt to complete its deliberations regarding the fundamental constitutional proposals, leading to the election time, next December.

The House of Representatives (HoR), along with the High Council of State (HCS) had failed in their quest to approve what was agreed upon in the Egyptian Hurghada meetings.

This has caused the files in question to be transferred to the LPDF, according to a statement attributed to the chairman of the High National Election Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh.
