Member of House of Representatives Ziyad Daghaim has lambasted the speaker of parliament Aqaila Saleh over accusations he made against the members who were absent from the vote of confidence in Bashagha’s government.

Saleh alleged that the absentee members had received bribes in order not to show up at the parliament session, accusing them of “treason”.

Daghaim said “the tyranny of Saleh has allowed him to accuse the absolute majority of MPs of treason”, adding in a press statement that they can no longer remain silent about Saleh’s “transgressions”, promising a response to his allegations.
