The United Nations special envoy in Libya, Jan Kubis stressed during his visit to Epypt the need for the full implementation of the roadmap to solve the Libyan crisis.

Kubis discussed with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry strengthening the three-track Libyan dialogues, and the full implementation of the roadmap approved by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, in addition to the ceasefire agreement, stressing the need for all mercenaries to leave Libya, according to the statement of the United Nations Mission in Libya.

He also discussed with the head of the General Intelligence Service, Abbas Kamel, security and political developments and ways to support the unification of security institutions in Libya.

Jan Kubis ended his two-day visit to Cairo on Thursday, during which he met with high-ranking Egyptian officials and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
