Sudanese Justice and Equality rebels have stormed into the Turkish Company on Mrada-Al-Aqila road in southeastern Libya, stealing equipment and vehicles as well as kidnapping 5 guards.
Mrada mayor Abdullah Dabob told reporters that the guards were civilian and called for their immediate release and the return of the stolen items.
Another official in Mrada municipality, Saleh Al-Fitouri, called on Khalifa Haftar’s forces to probe the incident that took place last Thursday, saying the local forces will be targeting the Sudanese rebels.
