President of the Jordanian Private Hospitals Association, Fawzi Hammouri, has called on his government to assist the association in collecting the debts owed by Libya to private Jordanian hospitals, which amounts to 220 million dollars.

"The debts issue with Libya remains stalled, after Libya's failure to comply with its commitments in the agreement signed with Jordan in December 2018," Hammouri said in a statement.

He added that the association is still studying the possibility of resorting to justice to settle the unpaid debts, which was recognized by Libyaafter being audited by an accredited audit firm.
