Itamilradar website has confirmed that a US Boeing C-17A aircraft landed in Benghazi on Sunday evening.
The website specialized in tracking military flights over Italy and the Mediterranean revealed that the plane took off from the US Air Base "Ramstein" in Germany towards eastern Libya.
After 3 hours, the plane was tracked again, but this time in the opposite direction, where it landed in the US-Spanish Naval Base "Rota" in Spain, according to the website
Another US military plane was tracked on Sunday morning in flight western Libya. The website indicating that it was likely to be on a surveillance and observation mission.
