The monitoring military aircraft movements over Italy and the Mediterranean Sea “ItaMilRadar” detected Tuesday morning a French Air Force Boeing C-135FR over Tripoli.

ItaMilRadar clarified that the aircraft was following the usual route used by French carriers on the flight to Libya, confirming that the plane disabled its tracking signal when overflying the Libyan airspace.

it assumed that the plane was carrying out an aerial refuelling mission supporting French aircraft in the area off Tripoli, predicting the presence of other French planes in the area.
