The ministries of health and local government have received a number of highly equipped ambulance cars from the Italian Embassy in Libya, as part of the "Solidarity Bridge" program launched by the Italian government.
"The ambulances will be allocated to the municipalities of Garabulli, Sabha, Zawiya, Ubari, Kufra, and to the Children's Hospital in Tripoli," the Local Government Ministry said on Facebook.
The handover process was attended by Minister of Health, Hameed Ben Omar, Minister of Local Government, Milad El Tahir, and Italy's Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino.
