The Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Perrone said on Saturday that his government is to provide urgent support to Libyan municipalities affected by illegal immigration within the framework of the Solidarity Bridge Program, launched a few months ago.
"New deliveries expected in the coming weeks of urgent supplies from Italy to the Libyan municipalities most affected by human smuggling and illegal migration in the framework of the program Solidarity Bridge." Perrone tweeted Saturday.
The Italian Government aims through this program that was launched by its embassy in Libya last January to provide humanitarian support and assistance to Libyan municipalities affected by illegal immigration.
