The Italian Foundation Pax Humana has launched an initiative to establish a health clinic in the city of Sabha to support the local population and social components throughout Fezzan region and to facilitate access to health services, according to the Italian Nova news agency.
The project was promoted by the non-profit organization Ara Pacis, in cooperation with the University of Luis in Rome and with the support of partners such as Eni, Terna, SkyTG24 and Coldiretti.
The initiative aims to support the stability of border communities in the countries of the Sahel and Sahara by establishing multi-purpose centers that achieve peace, social and economic development in the region.
