The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said that the US President Donald Trump expressed his desire to attend the International Conference on Libya to be held in Sicily in November.
Conte told Italian journalists accompanying him in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly that Trump expressed his intent to participate in the international conference on Libya if his schedule permitted to do so, adding that the Trump administration attaches particular importance to the strategic dialogue between the Mediterranean countries.
