Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte said the military escalation in Libya is a major concern for Italy and the international community.
Conte clarified in a hearing on the developments of the Libyan crisis before the Italian House of Representatives that he has been in constant contact with the Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj and the leader of the so-called Dignity Operation, Khalifa Haftar.
He also explained that his support for the PC stems from the moral conviction of political understanding with the actors in the Libyan arena.
