An opposition member of the Italian Parliament said that Italy's Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio has at last reached the same conclusion as the leader of the "Forza Italia" party, Silvio Berlusconi regarding his vision on Libya.

"After nearly 10 years, Di Maio agrees with Berlusconi's view on the need to re-launch the agreements signed by the latter with the Libyan government during the Gaddafi era, said Italian MP Deborah Bergamini, from the opposition party of "Forza Italia".

The Italian diplomat said she believes that the agreements signed during Berlusconi's government were withdrawn by the Libyan side.
