Italian Foreign Minister, Angelino Alfano, reaffirmed his country's continued commitment to supporting the Libyan issue.
During his meeting with the Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Sayala, in New York on the sidelines of the EU foreign ministers' meeting on Libya, Alfano expressed his satisfaction at the effective cooperation between Rome and Tripoli on managing migration flows.
He added that the decline in illegal immigration during the last two months has been encouraging.
