The Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, has met with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), to discuss latest political developments and ways to support the international community for the democratic process in Libya.
Buccino expressed his government's readiness to provide technical and advisory support to raise the readiness of the HNEC to conduct the elections in the coming period, praising its efforts in dealing with the previous electoral stages.
He also called for overcoming all bottlenecks in order to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people.
