The Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino submitted to the Libyan Foreign Ministry of the Government of National Accord a draft project for maritime demarcation between the two countries, asking for considering signing the agreement.
Buccino met with the deputy minister of foreign affairs for technical issues Tuesday and handed as well a memorandum of understanding proposal for cooperation in digital technology in public services to improve communication between citizens and government institutions.
The meeting also discussed implementing measures discussed by the Libyan-Italian technical economic committee on December 17, 2020 in a closed meeting.
