The Israeli authorities in occupied Palestine is seeking compensation worth $ 250 billion for assets left by Jews in Libya and other Arab countries, US-based Bloomberg reported.

Bloomberg added that Israeli authorities have hired an international accounting firm to estimate the number of assets in eight Arab countries, noting that it is seeking to get $ 50 billion for Jewish property in Tunisia and Libya only.

The US network said the remaining assets in Morocco, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Iran and Yemen amount to $200 billion.
