At least 10 Dignity Operation fighters were killed in an ISIS attack on Al- Fugaha checkpoint in Al-Jufra region, central Libya, on Tuesday.

Local sources said ISIS fugitives, who are regrouping in the region and in the valleys of Bani Walid town, attacked the checkpoint late at night, leaving 11 fighters dead and 2 others wounded.

“The ISIS militants also set the checkpoint and all the military vehicles on fire before escaping”. The sources added.

Dignity Operation took control of Al-Jufra region last June.
