Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Iron and Steel company, Mohamed Al-Faqih, has pledged to support efforts aimed at enhancing cooperation with Italy in the iron and steel industry.
Al-Faqih received the Italian ambassador, Giuseppe Buccino, at the Iron and Steel Company HQ in Misrata on Sunday.
The two sides reviewed the results of the visit conducted by the Libyan delegation to several Italian companies last February and discussed means to enhance communication between the two sides.
Al-Faqih lauded 'the diligent efforts' of ambassador Buccino to foster communication between the two sides and reaffirmed his commitment to support all that would scale up and accelerate cooperation with the Italian side.
