The International Organization for Migration (IOM) carried out an awareness campaign to inform the migrants staying at the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency in Tripoli about the voluntary humanitarian repatriation program.

The agency's information office said the organization's representative, Mohammed al-Hammouzi, gave the immigrants of Somali nationality an explanation about their country's voluntary repatriation, airport procedures, and the assistance provided to them after returning to their country.

Somali immigrants are due to be repatriated from Mitiga Airport in Tripoli Mogadishu Airport on May 29, after receiving temporary travel documents from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
