The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Monday that its medical team had conducted medical examinations for around 107 migrants, who had recently arrived at the IOM's Gathering and Departure Facility (GDF) in Tripoli.

Around 32 cases of tuberculosis were detected, according to IOM, confirming that all have received the necessary therapeutic care.

About a week ago, the IOM expressed concern about the release of 600 illegal immigrants from Abu Salim shelter, at least 200 of them arrived at the GDF. It said that the migrants should be released within an organized program and their safety should be taken into account.
