The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has confirmed that more than 63,000 people have been displaced from their homes since the start of the clashes in Tripoli.

"Most families have been displaced to central Tripoli, Mount Nafusa and other cities along the coastal strip in western Libya," IOM confirmed, warning that families displaced to areas close to the clashes are still at risk.

The organization added that more than 3,000 immigrants staying in shelters in Tripoli and nearby areas are also at high risk of the clashes.
