The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said that about 39 thousand people have been displaced since the outbreak of the war on Tripoli on April 4.

The organization clarified via its website that the displaced people who fled their homes have been dispersed over twenty-five municipalities inside and outside Tripoli, pointing out that more civilians are still fleeing their homes in fear of hostilities.

"The IOM in Libya is tracking the movement of displaced people on a daily basis, as well as the needs of vulnerable people, which is essential for a comprehensive and effective humanitarian response," IOM said.
