The International Campaign for Boycotting the UAE has accused officials in Abu Dhabi of interfering in the Libyan war and providing military assistance and support to warlord Khalifa Haftar, to put their hands on Libya's oil wealth.

The organizers of the campaign said on their official website that the parallel oil institution in Benghazi signed a contract with the Dubai-registered Solaco Company to export two million barrels of crude oil from the port of Marsa al-Harika, controlled by Haftar's forces, to the UAE, saying that it is being sold illegally.

"The UAE is supporting chaos in Libya to continue to benefit from its resources including the oil wealth, taking advantage of the disputes, the war, and destruction to ensure their continued access to Libya's wealth," the campaign added.
