The head of the Internal Security Office at Benina International Airport informed the airport ticket offices in an official letter not to issue tickets to citizens without showing security approval.

According to the letter, the security approval required for all male and female citizens between the ages of 18 and 45 year.

It is worth noting that the security authorities in Benghazi had earlier closed the airports of the eastern region, by order of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Faraj Qaim.
