The Interior Minister Fathi Pashagha called on members of the General Security Service and the General Directorate of Central Security, not to intervene in the state agencies affairs that they have been entrusted to secure and guard.

"It was recently observed that some of your employees and those entrusted with securing and guarding the sovereign facilities of the state had interfered in the work and the decisions of these facilities, which is not what they were assigned for," Pashagha said in a letter addressed to the Security Agencies.

Pashagha added in the letter that was published on the ministry's Facebook that the task of the security services was limited to the protection and providing the best conditions for the employees of these facilities to perform their work to the fullest.
