The Ministry of Interior has launched a campaign to uncover the fate of the forcibly disappeared persons, saying it will work to specify all those involved in such crimes, including individuals and entities, according to a statement by the ministry on Friday.

It called on families of victims of enforced disappearance to get in touch with the nearest police station to report the incident or address the ministry’s office directly.

"The unlawful practices against citizens related to the kidnapping or imprisonment of a person from any party without authorization or acquiescence in the state to sow terror, are among the offensives punishable by law and the perpetrators must be held accountable," stressed the ministry.
