The Interior Minister Fathi Pashaga has arrived in Washington DC on an official visit to discuss with the American side the security situation in the country, a source from the ministry confirmed.

The source clarified that Pashaga is to discuss coordination and cooperation in combating terrorism and organized crime with officials of the FBI and the Pentagon.

The visit is the first by the Interior Minister Fathi Pashaga to the United States since he took over the office in October last year.
