The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Fathi Bashagha, emphasized the need to establish improved security in the southern areas of Libya in order to establish authority to deal with adverse destructive offences which occur in these areas.

This came during his meeting the Head of Tabu Assembly, Hussein Sharif, along with his accompanying delegation.

The Tabu delegating offered Bashagha a rundown of the security situation in the region and the hurdles and difficulties which the citizens in the south suffer daily due to lack of proper security.
