The Interior Minister of the Presidential Council’s government Abdelsalam Ashour said security in southern Libya will be improved in the few coming days, adding in a statement that they had instructed all security apparatuses in the south to change their strategies in dealing with criminals.

The minister added that they will work on fighting and ending the presence of armed groups which came from outside Libya, adding that most murders’ perpetrators are well-known and some of them are protected by their tribes.

“Disowning the criminals is a security need that should be implemented.” He added.
